Sub Programme Officer - Private Sector Development (2 Positions) at Ministry of Finance Kampala

The Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development is seeking two qualified and motivated Sub Programme Officers to join our Private Sector Development (PSD) unit in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Uganda's economic growth by supporting private sector initiatives and development programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of private sector development programmes and projects
• Monitor and evaluate programme activities to ensure alignment with national development goals
• Prepare regular progress reports and documentation for stakeholders
• Coordinate with various government agencies and private sector partners
• Assist in budget preparation and expenditure tracking for PSD initiatives
• Provide technical support in programme planning and implementation
• Conduct field visits to monitor programme activities across different regions

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Development Studies, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in programme management or private sector development
• Strong understanding of Uganda's economic landscape and private sector challenges
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience working with government programmes is an added advantage
