Mildmay Hospital Uganda (MHUg) is seeking a qualified and experienced Stores Officer to join our dynamic team in Kampala. This is an excellent opportunity for a stores management professional to contribute to healthcare delivery in Uganda.

Job Summary:
The Stores Officer will efficiently manage Mildmay Uganda's stores operations, including both Medicines & Health Supplies and General Stores, to support the achievement of the organization's strategic objectives in healthcare service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all stores operations including inventory control
• Handle pharmaceutical and medical supplies inventory management
• Maintain accurate records using accounting packages (preferably Navision)
• Implement risk management strategies for stores operations
• Ensure proper storage conditions for medicines and medical supplies
• Coordinate with medical departments for supply chain efficiency
• Prepare stores reports and maintain documentation

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Diploma in Pharmacy PLUS qualifications in Logistics Management OR
• Bachelor's degree in Stores Management, Procurement and Supplies, or Logistics Management
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Stores Management
• Proven experience in managing medicines and medical supplies
• Knowledge in pharmaceutical inventory management
• Full knowledge of accounting packages, preferably Navision
• Excellent knowledge of risk management in stores operations
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
