HIV/TB Care and Treatment Officer Job in Kabarole - Baylor Uganda

Baylor Uganda is seeking a dedicated HIV/TB Care and Treatment Officer to join our Medical & Psychosocial department in Kabarole. This is a full-time fixed-term contract position where you will play a crucial role in advancing HIV epidemic control interventions across supported districts in Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance for HIV/TB care and treatment programmes
- Ensure timely implementation of quality HIV epidemic control interventions
- Support the attainment and sustenance of HIV treatment targets
- Collaborate with district health teams and stakeholders
- Monitor and evaluate programme performance indicators
- Build capacity of healthcare workers in HIV/TB management
- Ensure adherence to national treatment guidelines and protocols

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Nursing, or related health field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in HIV/TB care and treatment programmes
- Strong understanding of Uganda's HIV epidemic control strategies
- Excellent technical assistance and capacity building skills
- Experience working with district health systems in Uganda
- Knowledge of current national HIV/TB treatment guidelines
