Watu, a leading provider of asset financing and mobility solutions, is seeking motivated and results-driven Sales Representatives to join our dynamic team across multiple regions in Uganda. About the Role:
As a Sales Representative with Watu, you will be at the forefront of our mission to empower entrepreneurs and individuals. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of motorcycle and asset financing products, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads and customers within your designated region (North West, South East, North East & South West).
* Present, promote, and sell Watu's financing products using solid arguments and in-person demonstrations.
* Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing excellent service.
* Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments within the company.
* Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
* Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the Ugandan mobility and fintech sector.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Minimum of a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or equivalent; a diploma or degree in a business-related field is an added advantage.
* Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or similar role, preferably in financing, FMCG, or mobility sectors in Uganda.
* Excellent knowledge of the local market and geography within the assigned region.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build rapport and work independently with minimal supervision.
* A valid riding permit (Class A) is highly desirable for mobility within the region.
* Honesty, integrity, and a strong customer-focused attitude.
