Job Description
The Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development is seeking two qualified and motivated PSD Sub Programme Officers to join our dynamic team in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Uganda's economic development through effective programme implementation and management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and monitor Private Sector Development (PSD) sub-programmes
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure programme objectives are met
• Prepare detailed programme reports and documentation
• Monitor programme budgets and expenditures
• Provide technical support to programme partners
• Conduct field visits to monitor programme implementation
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and policies
• Facilitate capacity building initiatives for programme beneficiaries
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Development Studies or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in programme management or development work
• Strong understanding of Uganda's private sector landscape
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of government procurement procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
