Project Manager Job at CRS in Mubende, Uganda

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Mubende, Uganda. This is an exciting opportunity for a development professional to lead impactful projects that transform communities in Central Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage development projects from planning through implementation and evaluation
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation in Mubende district
• Coordinate with local government authorities and community stakeholders
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with donor requirements
• Manage project team members and provide technical guidance
• Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation
• Ensure projects align with CRS mission and Ugandan development priorities

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in Uganda's development sector
• Proven experience managing donor-funded projects (USAID, EU, UN agencies)
• Strong understanding of Mubende district development context
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Fluency in English and local languages spoken in Mubende
• Valid motorcycle riding permit is an advantage
