Project Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer Job in Kampala - WaterAid Uganda
Job Description
WaterAid Uganda is seeking a dedicated Project Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer to join our team in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects across Uganda.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive M&E frameworks for CARFEWW project
• Design data collection tools and monitoring systems for WASH programmes
• Conduct regular field monitoring visits to project sites across Uganda
• Analyse project data and prepare detailed progress reports
• Facilitate learning sessions and knowledge sharing among stakeholders
• Ensure data quality and accuracy through verification processes
• Support capacity building of partner organisations in M&E practices
• Document best practices and lessons learned from project implementation
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in monitoring and evaluation roles
• Strong knowledge of M&E methodologies and data analysis tools
• Experience working in WASH or development sector in Uganda
• Proficiency in data analysis software (SPSS, STATA, or similar)
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
• Willingness to travel frequently to field locations
