Program Implementation Specialist Job in Kampala - Compassion International Uganda

Compassion International Uganda is seeking a dedicated and skilled Program Support Specialist III to join our team in Kampala. This is a mid-level career opportunity for a professional passionate about holistic child development and community transformation in Uganda.

In this role, you will provide expert consultation and support for the implementation of our life-changing child development programmes. You will use your specialised knowledge to strengthen our interventions and directly impact the lives of children and families across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult on and support the implementation of holistic child development programmes and interventions.
• Provide expert coaching and mentorship to other field implementation staff.
• Manage a small portfolio of programme implementation projects or initiatives.
• Apply specialised knowledge in one or more key areas: programme planning and design, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), curriculum development, training facilitation, or data management and analysis.
• Ensure programme activities align with Compassion International's mission and Ugandan community needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in programme implementation within the NGO or development sector in Uganda.
• Strong skills in your area of specialisation (e.g., M&E, curriculum design, training).
• Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local Ugandan languages is an added advantage.
• Commitment to Christian values and child protection principles.
