Physician Manager Job in Kampala - Aga Khan Health Services Uganda

Aga Khan Health Services Uganda is seeking an experienced and dedicated Physician Manager to join our team in Kampala. This is a senior leadership role within one of East Africa's most respected healthcare networks, offering the opportunity to oversee clinical operations and drive healthcare excellence in Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and management for physician services in Kampala
- Oversee patient care standards, clinical protocols, and quality assurance programmes
- Manage physician schedules, recruitment, and professional development
- Collaborate with hospital administration on strategic planning and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with Ugandan medical regulations and Aga Khan Health Services standards
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programmes

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from a recognised institution
- Full registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience with 2+ years in a supervisory/management role
- Postgraduate qualification in Health Management, Public Health, or related field preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Knowledge of Uganda's healthcare system and regulatory environment
- Commitment to ethical medical practice and patient safety standards
