Job Summary:
As a Dispenser at C-Care Uganda, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare delivery system. You will be responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, and dispensing of pharmaceutical drugs and medical supplies to various hospital units and directly to our patients. Your work ensures the safe and effective use of medication, directly impacting patient health outcomes and treatment adherence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Accurately prepare, dispense, and label prescribed medications and medical supplies.
* Maintain meticulous documentation and records of all dispensed items in accordance with pharmacy regulations.
* Provide clear, accurate, and empathetic counselling to patients on medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
* Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care.
* Manage pharmacy inventory, including stock-taking, ordering, and proper storage of drugs and supplies.
* Adhere to all standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and ethical guidelines of the pharmacy profession in Uganda.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and professional pharmacy environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:
* A recognised Diploma in Pharmacy or a related field from a reputable institution.
* Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council of Uganda.
* Proven experience working as a dispenser or pharmacy technician in a hospital or clinic setting is a strong advantage.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centred approach.
* Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and numerical accuracy.
* High level of integrity and professionalism.
* Computer literacy for managing digital records.
