National Development Plan (NDP IV) Programme Secretariat Jobs in Kampala - Ministry of Finance

The Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MoFPED) is recruiting qualified Ugandan professionals for multiple vacant positions within the National Development Plan (NDP) IV Programme Secretariat. We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill various roles that will support the coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of the NDP IV programmes. Successful candidates will work within a dynamic government environment focused on achieving Uganda's Vision 2040.

Key Responsibilities for Various Positions:
• Support the implementation and coordination of NDP IV programmes and projects.
• Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare reports on development plan progress.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and inter-ministerial collaboration.
• Monitor and evaluate programme performance against set targets and indicators.
• Provide technical support in planning, budgeting, and resource mobilisation for NDP IV.
• Prepare briefing papers, concept notes, and policy documents for senior management.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields (Economics, Statistics, Public Administration, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related disciplines).
• Proven experience in programme management, monitoring & evaluation, or policy analysis.
• Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications and data analysis software.
• Knowledge of Uganda's development planning framework and public sector operations.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to national service.
