Raising The Village, a respected international development organisation, is seeking experienced and qualified professionals for a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Motor Vehicle Repairs, Service and Maintenance for 2025. This is a significant opportunity for established garages, workshops, or skilled automotive technicians in Uganda to partner with us in maintaining our fleet to the highest standards.
About Raising The Village:
We are a collaborative organisation dedicated to ending extreme poverty in last-mile villages in Uganda. Our team works directly with communities to create sustainable solutions. Maintaining a reliable vehicle fleet is crucial for our field teams to reach remote areas and deliver our programmes effectively.
Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities:
Successful applicants will be responsible for providing comprehensive motor vehicle maintenance and repair services for our fleet in Uganda. Key duties will include:
- Performing routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs for a range of motor vehicles.
- Conducting thorough diagnostics and providing accurate cost estimates.
- Ensuring all work complies with Ugandan road safety and vehicle standards.
- Providing timely, reliable, and high-quality mechanical services.
- Maintaining clear records of services, parts used, and costs.
- Offering prompt breakdown and recovery support as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
We are looking for reputable service providers with:
- Proven experience in motor vehicle repair, servicing, and maintenance.
- A valid business registration and all necessary licences to operate in Uganda.
- A well-equipped workshop or garage facility in or accessible to Kampala.
- Certified and skilled mechanics/technicians.
- Ability to source genuine or high-quality spare parts.
- Strong references from previous clients.
- Commitment to fair pricing, transparency, and excellent customer service.
