Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Officers (2 Positions) - Rwenzori & Central Uganda
Job Description
Pathfinder International, a global leader in sexual and reproductive health rights, is seeking two dedicated Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Officers to join our team in Uganda. These positions will be based in the Rwenzori and Central regions, working to improve health outcomes in local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement monitoring and evaluation systems for health programmes
• Collect and analyse data on sexual and reproductive health indicators
• Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and donors
• Build capacity of local partners in MEL methodologies
• Ensure data quality and integrity across all programme activities
• Facilitate learning sessions to improve programme performance
• Track programme indicators against set targets and objectives
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Public Health, Social Sciences or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in monitoring and evaluation
• Strong knowledge of Uganda's health system and SRHR landscape
• Proficiency in data analysis software (SPSS, STATA, or similar)
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Experience working in Rwenzori or Central regions preferred
• Understanding of local languages in target regions is an advantage
