Job Description
World Vision International Uganda is seeking a dedicated and experienced Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator to join our team in Kampala. This is a senior-level opportunity for a professional passionate about driving programme impact through robust data systems in the NGO sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive Monitoring & Evaluation systems for various development programmes across Uganda.
- Develop and validate effective data collection tools and methodologies tailored to the local context.
- Conduct rigorous data analysis using advanced statistical software and produce high-quality reports for stakeholders and donors.
- Build the capacity of programme staff in M&E principles, data collection, and basic analysis to foster a culture of learning.
- Ensure the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and ethical management in all M&E activities.
- Lead the preparation of periodic reports, including quarterly and annual reports, to demonstrate programme outcomes and impact.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in Monitoring and Evaluation within the NGO or development sector in Uganda.
- High proficiency in statistical software packages, specifically SPSS or STATA.
- Hands-on experience with digital data collection tools (e.g., ODK, Kobo Toolbox, CommCare).
- Exceptional analytical, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of the Ugandan development context and donor reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
