Job Description
World Vision International Uganda is seeking an experienced Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator to join our team in Fort Portal. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled M&E professional to coordinate monitoring and evaluation activities for our development programs in Western Uganda.
As our Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring program effectiveness and impact measurement. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive M&E frameworks, conducting rigorous data collection and analysis, and preparing detailed reports for stakeholders and donors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate all M&E activities for World Vision programs in Western Uganda
• Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks
• Conduct systematic data collection, analysis, and interpretation
• Prepare comprehensive reports for management and donor requirements
• Build capacity of staff members in M&E methodologies and practices
• Ensure data quality and integrity across all program areas
• Monitor program performance against established indicators
• Provide technical support for M&E systems implementation
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies or related field
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in monitoring and evaluation
• Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, STATA, R, or similar)
• Demonstrated experience with donor M&E requirements and reporting
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Excellent report writing and presentation abilities
• Experience in capacity building and staff training
