Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Specialist Job in Gulu - World Vision Uganda

World Vision International Uganda is seeking an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Specialist to join our team in Gulu, Northern Uganda. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to contribute to meaningful development work in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive M&E frameworks for development projects
- Conduct systematic data collection, analysis and interpretation
- Prepare detailed monitoring reports for management and donors
- Build capacity of staff members in monitoring and evaluation methodologies
- Ensure data quality and integrity across all programme activities
- Coordinate with project teams to track progress against targets
- Facilitate learning sessions to improve programme implementation

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies or related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation
- Proven experience working with donor-funded projects (USAID, DFID, UN agencies preferred)
- Strong data analysis skills using statistical software (SPSS, STATA, or similar)
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Experience working in Northern Uganda is highly preferred
- Understanding of local context and development challenges in Uganda
