Job Summary:
As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients within the hospital wards, units, and outpatient clinics. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient, effective, and patient-centred medical services, directly contributing to the health and wellbeing of our community.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Provide direct clinical care and management to patients in assigned units, wards, or clinics.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and continuous medical education sessions.
- Adhere to established clinical protocols, guidelines, and standards of care.
- Contribute to the efficient and profitable operation of the medical service.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent from a recognised institution.
- Full registration and a valid annual practicing license from the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of post-internship clinical experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical acumen and excellent patient management skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning.
