About the Role:
As a Logistics Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient flow of materials and products. You will work within the supply chain team to ensure operations run smoothly, contributing directly to Hima Cement's mission of building Uganda's future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating daily logistics and transportation activities.
• Support documentation and record-keeping for shipments and inventory.
• Help track and monitor the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with internal teams and external transport providers.
• Contribute to maintaining accurate logistics data and reports.
• Assist in resolving any minor logistical issues that arise.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a logistics, warehouse, or transport role is a strong advantage.
• Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
