Job Description
The Hunger Project (THP) Uganda, a leading non-governmental organisation dedicated to ending hunger and poverty, is recruiting qualified and passionate Ugandan professionals for various opportunities across the country. Available Positions & Key Responsibilities
- Programme Officers and Managers to design and implement community development projects
- Monitoring & Evaluation Specialists to track impact and outcomes
- Finance and Administration Officers to ensure operational efficiency
- Community Mobilisers to engage directly with local partners
- Agriculture and Livelihoods Experts to support food security initiatives
- Advocacy and Communications Officers to amplify our message
Qualifications & Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognised Ugandan or international university
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in the NGO sector in Uganda
- Strong understanding of Uganda's development context and challenges
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an added advantage
- Proven experience in project management, community development, or related fields
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams and rural settings
- Commitment to THP's values of gender equality, sustainability, and dignity
