Job Description
MEDICAL TEAMS INTERNATIONAL is seeking passionate humanitarian professionals to join our life-saving mission in Uganda. As a leading global health organisation, we provide emergency medical care and sustainable health programmes to vulnerable communities across Uganda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver essential health services in refugee settlements and host communities
- Implement primary healthcare programmes including maternal and child health
- Conduct disease prevention and health education activities
- Support emergency response operations during health crises
- Collaborate with local health authorities and community leaders
- Maintain accurate medical records and programme documentation
Requirements:
- Degree in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health or related field
- Valid registration with relevant Ugandan professional council
- Minimum 2 years experience in humanitarian or clinical settings
- Strong understanding of Uganda's healthcare system
- Experience working in refugee contexts preferred
- Fluency in English; local languages advantageous
