About the Role


As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a vital support role in the HR department, ensuring smooth administrative operations and contributing to a positive employee experience. You will work closely with the HR team to manage essential functions that keep our workforce engaged and compliant.

Key Responsibilities & Duties



  • Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening CVs, and coordinating interviews.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date physical and digital employee records and files.

  • Provide administrative support for HR processes, including onboarding, staff training, and performance management.

  • Help in the preparation of HR documents, reports, and correspondence.

  • Support payroll administration by verifying attendance and leave records.

  • Serve as a first point of contact for basic employee HR queries.

  • Ensure compliance with Ugandan labour laws and company policies.

Requirements & Qualifications



  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial & Organisational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognised institution.

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in a human resources or administrative role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.

  • A proactive and team-oriented attitude.
