Human Resource Officer (Procurement & Supply Chain) Job at Hariss International Ltd. - Kawempe, Kampala

Hariss International Ltd., a leading FMCG manufacturer in Uganda known for brands like Riham, is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented professional to join our Human Resource department with a focus on procurement and supply chain functions. About the Role:
You will play a key support role within the HR team, specifically handling procurement, logistics, and supply chain-related HR activities. You will ensure the smooth acquisition of HR department resources and contribute to efficient people operations that support our manufacturing and distribution goals.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the procurement process for HR department needs, including training materials, office supplies, and other resources.
* Assist in managing logistics for HR events, training programmes, and staff welfare activities.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HR procurement and vendor management.
* Collaborate with the supply chain and finance departments to ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
* Contribute to HR reporting and data management related to departmental expenditures.
* Provide general administrative support to the Human Resource team as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications:
* A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline from a recognised Ugandan or international university.
* Strong understanding of basic procurement principles and procedures.
* Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
* A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team.
