Finance and Administration Manager Job at FHI 360 Kampala

FHI 360 Uganda is seeking an experienced Finance and Administration Manager to join our dynamic team in Kampala. This senior leadership position offers an exciting opportunity to manage financial operations and administrative functions for our Uganda office, contributing to meaningful development work across the country.

As a leading international development organisation, FHI 360 implements various health and development programmes throughout Uganda. The Finance and Administration Manager will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency across all our Ugandan projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and manage annual budgets for Uganda operations
• Oversee comprehensive financial reporting and analysis
• Manage grants and ensure compliance with donor requirements
• Supervise and mentor finance and administration staff
• Monitor compliance with organisational policies and Ugandan regulations
• Implement robust financial controls and systems
• Coordinate with programme teams on financial planning
• Manage office administration and procurement processes

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualification: CPA or ACCA certification
• Minimum 7 years of progressive finance management experience
• Demonstrated experience with USAID regulations and compliance
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Excellent knowledge of Ugandan financial regulations
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
• Experience in NGO or development sector preferred
