About the Role:
As a Dental Nurse at All C-Care, you will provide essential support to our dental surgeons and ensure the smooth operation of our dental clinic. You will be at the heart of patient interactions, helping to create a positive and reassuring experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the dental surgeon during various clinical procedures and treatments.
- Prepare and organise dental treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilised and ready for use.
- Maintain the highest standards of infection prevention and control in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines.
- Provide chair-side assistance, passing instruments, and preparing dental materials.
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Offer patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Ensure the dental surgery is clean, well-stocked, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients, helping to alleviate anxiety.
Requirements:
- Must possess a Diploma in Dental Nursing from a recognised institution in Uganda.
- Valid practising licence from the Allied Health Professionals Council.
- At least 1-2 years of experience working as a Dental Nurse in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
