Dental Nurse Job in Lira - Join C-Care IMC Healthcare Team

About the Role:
As a Dental Nurse at C-Care IMC Lira, you will play a crucial support role in our dental department. You will work directly with our dental surgeons to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate patient care. Your primary focus will be on creating a positive patient experience while maintaining the highest clinical standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist the dental surgeon chair-side during a variety of clinical procedures and treatments.
* Prepare and organise dental treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and materials are ready for use.
* Maintain strict infection prevention and control protocols, including sterilising instruments and disinfecting surfaces.
* Provide patient care and support before, during, and after dental procedures.
* Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
* Handle dental supplies and equipment inventory.

Requirements and Qualifications:
* A recognised Diploma in Dental Nursing from a recognised institution.
* Valid practising licence from the Allied Health Professionals Council of Uganda.
* Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or Dental Assistant is preferred.
* Strong understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centred approach.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
