Job Summary
As a Dental Nurse at C-Care Uganda, you will play a vital role in our dental department, ensuring smooth clinical operations and maintaining the highest standards of patient care and infection control. You will work closely with dental professionals to provide comprehensive dental services to our patients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist the dental surgeon during various clinical procedures and treatments.
• Prepare and maintain dental treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilised and ready for use.
• Provide chair-side assistance, passing instruments, and preparing materials as required.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle patient enquiries with professionalism.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
• Ensure adequate stock levels of dental supplies and consumables.

Requirements and Qualifications
• Diploma in Dental Nursing from a recognised institution in Uganda.
• Valid practising licence from the Allied Health Professionals Council.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a dental nurse in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
• Computer literacy for managing patient records is an added advantage.
