Dental Nurse Job in Kololo, Kampala - C-Care Uganda

Job Summary
As a Dental Nurse at C-Care Uganda, you will play a vital role in our dental department. You will work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure smooth clinical operations, maintain the highest standards of infection control, and provide a positive experience for all our patients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist the dental surgeon during various clinical procedures and treatments.
* Prepare and organise dental treatment rooms before patient appointments.
* Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to strict infection prevention protocols.
* Provide chair-side assistance, passing instruments, and preparing materials.
* Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
* Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.
* Maintain inventory of dental supplies and materials.
* Ensure the dental surgery is clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Requirements and Qualifications
* A recognised Diploma in Dental Nursing from a recognised institution in Uganda.
* Valid practising licence from the Allied Health Professionals Council.
* At least 1-2 years of experience working as a dental nurse in a clinical setting.
* Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* A compassionate, patient-centred approach and high level of professionalism.
