About the Role:
As a Dental Nurse at C-Care Uganda, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental surgeons and ensuring smooth clinic operations. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care, infection control, and clinical assistance in our Gulu facility.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist dental surgeons during various clinical procedures and treatments
• Prepare and maintain dental treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
• Sterilise dental instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
• Provide chair-side assistance during patient examinations and procedures
• Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients
• Support administrative tasks as required by the dental department

Requirements:
• Diploma in Dental Nursing from a recognised institution
• Valid practicing license from the Allied Health Professionals Council of Uganda
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a dental clinic setting
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
• Excellent understanding of infection prevention and control standards
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care
