Data/BI Analyst Job at C-Care Uganda - Healthcare Analytics Role

C-Care Uganda, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Data/BI Analyst to join our dynamic team in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity to transform raw healthcare data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and improve patient outcomes across Uganda.

As a Data/BI Analyst at C-Care Uganda, you will play a crucial role in our digital transformation journey. You will work closely with clinical and administrative stakeholders to understand key business questions and translate them into analytical requirements. Your expertise will help us monitor performance, identify trends, and support evidence-based planning in Uganda's healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with department heads to define analytical requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Develop, maintain, and optimise interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar
• Clean, transform, and model raw data from multiple healthcare systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to healthcare operations
• Create automated reporting systems to monitor hospital performance metrics in real-time
• Present findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear visualisations and actionable recommendations
• Ensure data governance and security standards are maintained according to Ugandan healthcare regulations
• Support strategic planning initiatives with data-driven insights and forecasting models

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one data visualisation tool (Power BI preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with experience in healthcare data (advantageous)
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex data to diverse audiences
• Knowledge of Ugandan healthcare system and reporting requirements
