Data & Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Job in Kampala at C-Care Uganda

In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of our data-driven decision-making process. You will work closely with various departments to understand key business questions and translate them into powerful analytical reports and interactive dashboards. Your work will directly influence strategic planning, performance management, and operational efficiency across our IMC facilities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to define analytical requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop, maintain, and optimise interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Transform raw, complex data from multiple sources into clear, meaningful, and reliable insights.
• Analyse trends, identify patterns, and provide evidence-based recommendations to support business strategy.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in all reporting outputs.
• Support departments in monitoring performance against targets and goals.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Computing, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare, NGO, or corporate sector in Uganda.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with data visualisation and BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• A keen attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
