VTI Coordinator Job in Kampala - Vocational Training Institution Role

ASIGMA Group is seeking a dedicated VTI Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity to lead vocational training initiatives that transform young lives through skills development.

As our VTI Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective delivery, implementation, and reporting of all Vocational Training Institution (VTI) components within our Livelihoods Restoration Program. You will provide leadership and guidance while ensuring training activities meet the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide expert guidance on Vocational Training to achieve VTI deliverables within contract requirements
• Supervise all skills training courses for VTI Youth, ensuring adherence to curriculum and quality standards
• Deliver constructive feedback to VTI trainers on course progress and trainee performance
• Submit comprehensive biweekly reports to Enterprise Lead and update field agents on trainee progress
• Review and validate all deliverables for professional quality and technical accuracy
• Document and escalate grievances, safeguarding issues, and welfare concerns
• Conduct regular support visits to practical training centres across Uganda
• Coordinate out-of-school learning activities and skilling fair visits
• Support Research and Learning Unit with tracer studies and success story documentation
• Manage stakeholder relationships between VTI instructors and ASIGMA team
• Participate in VTI skilling review workshops and learning meetings

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Project Management, Engineering, IT or related field
• Proven experience in operational management within Uganda's development sector
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (added advantage)
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
• Self-motivated team player with critical thinking skills
