Compassion International, a leading Christian child development organisation, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Talent Development Specialist to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level HR professional to design and implement impactful programmes that empower our staff and directly support our mission of releasing children from poverty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive talent development programmes and processes aligned with Compassion's strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with organisational leaders and cross-functional teams to conduct thorough talent development needs assessments.
• Create and deliver engaging learning solutions, workshops, and training materials for staff at various levels.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of all talent development initiatives, using data to drive continuous improvement.
• Work independently on moderately complex projects or as a key team member on larger organisational development projects.
• Provide coaching and guidance to other specialists within the talent development function.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in talent development, learning & development, or organisational development, preferably within the NGO sector in Uganda.
• Strong skills in instructional design, facilitation, and programme evaluation.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and solve problems proactively.
• A passion for people development and alignment with Compassion's Christian mission and values.
