Job Description

Cavendish University Uganda, a leading private university and centre of excellence in Uganda, is seeking an experienced Real Estates and Facilities Manager to join our dynamic team in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transformation of higher education in Uganda while managing world-class facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and maintenance of all university buildings and facilities
- Develop and implement strategic facilities management plans
- Manage property leases, acquisitions, and disposals
- Ensure compliance with Ugandan building regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate with local contractors and service providers
- Manage facilities budgets and control operational costs
- Supervise maintenance staff and external service providers
- Implement sustainable and environmentally friendly facilities practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Facilities Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in facilities management in Uganda
- Professional certification in facilities management (added advantage)
- Strong knowledge of Ugandan property laws and regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proven experience managing large-scale facilities
- Familiarity with Kampala's real estate market
