Watu Uganda is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our Simu product line in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of mobile technology solutions in Uganda's growing telecommunications market.
As a Product Manager for Simu products, you will be responsible for driving product strategy, development, and market success. Join our dynamic team and contribute to transforming how Ugandans access and use mobile technology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute product strategy for Simu product line
• Conduct market research and analyze customer needs in Uganda
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and sales
• Define product requirements and create detailed specifications
• Monitor product performance and implement improvements
• Manage product lifecycle from conception to launch
• Coordinate with regional teams to ensure market relevance
• Analyze competitor products and market trends
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field
• 3+ years of product management experience in telecommunications
• Proven track record with mobile or technology products
• Strong understanding of Uganda's mobile market
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with product development methodologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
