IMB Bank Uganda is seeking a skilled BCP and Data Centre Officer to join our Information Technology department in Kampala Central. This is an exciting opportunity for IT professionals looking to advance their career in banking technology in Uganda.

As a BCP and Data Centre Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous operation of our banking systems and data management infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining business continuity protocols and overseeing data centre operations to support IMB Bank's digital banking services across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement business continuity plans for IT systems
• Monitor and maintain data centre infrastructure and equipment
• Ensure data backup and recovery procedures are functional
• Coordinate disaster recovery testing and simulations
• Maintain server rooms and network infrastructure
• Implement security protocols for data protection
• Provide technical support for banking operations
• Document procedures and maintain operational records

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 2+ years experience in data centre management or IT operations
• Knowledge of business continuity planning principles
• Experience with server hardware and network infrastructure
• Understanding of banking systems and operations in Uganda
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
