Procurement Coordinator Jobs in Uganda at C-Care (2 Positions)

C-Care, a leading healthcare provider in Uganda, is seeking two (2) detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinators to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about supply chain management and contributing to the healthcare sector in Uganda.

As a Procurement Coordinator at C-Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement of medical supplies, equipment, and other essential goods. You will work closely with various departments to support our mission of delivering quality healthcare services across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned categories, from requisition to delivery.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure value for money.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with C-Care policies and Uganda's public procurement regulations.
• Coordinate with the finance department for timely processing of purchase orders and payments.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with warehouse staff to prevent stock-outs of critical medical items.
• Prepare regular procurement reports and analysis for management review.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable local and international suppliers.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably within the healthcare, NGO, or FMCG sectors in Uganda.
• Professional certification from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or equivalent is a strong advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
