Primary School Teachers (Multiple Subjects) Jobs at Kakira Sugar Limited in Uganda

• Mathematics Teachers – 5 positions
• Science Teachers – 6 positions
• Social Studies Teachers – 8 positions
• English Teachers – 6 positions
• Thematic Class Teachers – 6 positions

Overall Purpose of the Job:
To provide high-quality primary education, foster a positive learning environment, and contribute to the holistic development of pupils in line with the Ugandan curriculum.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach pupils effectively in your assigned subject area(s).
• Prepare, deliver, and store teaching aids and learning resources.
• Develop timely schemes of work and detailed lesson plans.
• Source and manage a variety of reference books to ensure up-to-date content for learners.
• Set, mark, and revise exercises, tests, and examination scripts.
• Monitor class performance and provide academic counselling and support to pupils who are lagging behind.
• Participate in school activities and contribute to the school's academic calendar.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Grade III Teaching Certificate or a Diploma in Primary Education from a recognised institution in Uganda.
• Must be registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports.
• Proven experience teaching your subject speciality at the primary level.
• Strong command of the English language (and local language where applicable).
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to child development.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
