Kakira Sugar Limited, a leading employer in Uganda, is seeking passionate and qualified Primary School Teachers to join our team. We have multiple openings for dedicated educators who are committed to shaping young minds and contributing to quality education in Uganda.

We are currently recruiting for the following teaching positions:

• Mathematics Teachers (5 positions)
• Science Teachers (6 positions)
• Social Studies Teachers (8 positions)
• English Teachers (6 positions)
• Thematic Class Teachers (6 positions)

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Teach pupils according to the national curriculum and school standards.
• Prepare, store, and utilise effective teaching aids and learning resources.
• Develop timely schemes of work and detailed lesson plans for all subjects taught.
• Source and manage a variety of reference books to ensure up-to-date content for learners.
• Set, mark, and revise exercises, tests, and examination scripts.
• Closely monitor class performance and provide academic counselling and support to pupils who are lagging behind.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A recognised teaching qualification (Grade III, Diploma, or Degree in Education).
• Specialisation in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, English, or Primary Education is required for respective roles.
• Proven experience teaching at the primary school level in Uganda is a strong advantage.
• Excellent lesson planning, classroom management, and communication skills.
• A passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to pupil development.
• Must be registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports.
