All C-Care IMC Facilities, a leading healthcare provider in Uganda, is seeking a dedicated and professional Dispenser to join our pharmacy team in Kireka. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual passionate about patient care and pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Accurately prepare, document, and dispense prescribed drugs and medical supplies to hospital units and outpatients.
• Provide clear and empathetic counselling to patients to ensure they understand their medication regimens, dosages, and potential side effects.
• Maintain meticulous records of drug inventory, prescriptions dispensed, and patient interactions in compliance with hospital and national regulations.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and correct medication administration.
• Participate in stock management, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceuticals to prevent shortages or expiries.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical practice in all patient interactions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Pharmacy or a related field from a recognised institution in Uganda.
• Valid practising licence from the Allied Health Professionals Council.
• Proven experience working in a pharmacy or hospital dispensary setting is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centred approach.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Integrity, reliability, and a strong commitment to patient safety and healthcare excellence.
