Oracle ERP Technical Services Specialist - National Medical Store Uganda
Job Description
Chemonics International is seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Technical Services Specialist to support the enhancement and integration of the National Medical Store's Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning system in Uganda. This critical role will contribute to strengthening Uganda's healthcare supply chain through improved system functionality and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise in Oracle ERP system enhancement and customisation
- Support integration of Oracle ERP with existing National Medical Store systems
- Develop and implement system improvements to optimise medical supply chain management
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring
- Provide technical training and support to National Medical Store staff
- Ensure system compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Document system configurations and enhancement processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience with Oracle ERP implementation and enhancement
- Proven experience in healthcare systems or medical supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP modules and customisation tools
- Experience working with government institutions or public health systems in Uganda
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with Uganda's healthcare landscape and regulatory requirements
