Operations Audit Officer - Bank of Uganda Kampala (2 Positions)

Bank of Uganda, the central bank of Uganda, is seeking to recruit two qualified and competent Ugandan professionals for the position of Operations Audit Officer in Kampala. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive operational audits across various bank departments
• Evaluate internal controls and risk management systems
• Ensure compliance with Bank of Uganda policies and regulatory requirements
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management
• Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Ugandan citizenship (must provide National ID front and back)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIA will be an added advantage
• For foreign degrees, must provide Letter of Equivalence from National Council for Higher Education
• Experience in banking operations or internal audit preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
