Bank of Uganda, the country's central bank, is seeking three qualified Information Systems Audit Officers to join their dynamic team in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity for IT audit professionals to contribute to the stability and security of Uganda's financial system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive information systems audits across bank operations
• Evaluate IT controls, security systems, and data integrity measures
• Assess compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Identify potential risks in banking systems and recommend improvements
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance IT governance
Requirements:
• Ugandan citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Professional certifications in IT audit (CISA, CISSP) are advantageous
• Understanding of banking systems and financial regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
