Job Summary

As a Medical Officer at C-Care Uganda, you will work as an in-house medical professional responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care to patients. You will be stationed at our Mbale facility, where you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and managing various medical conditions while upholding the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients
• Manage both outpatient and inpatient care as required
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in patient management
• Participate in health education and preventive medicine initiatives
• Adhere to clinical protocols and ethical medical practices
• Provide emergency medical care when necessary

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from a recognised institution
• Full registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
• Valid annual practicing license
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a hospital setting
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to continuous professional development
