TASO Uganda is seeking three qualified Locum Laboratory Assistants to join our dedicated healthcare team across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for medical laboratory professionals to contribute to meaningful healthcare delivery in Uganda.

Position Details:
• Job Title: Locum Laboratory Assistant (03 Positions)
• Organization: TASO Uganda
• Locations: TASO Mbarara, TASO Rukungiri, TASO Tororo
• Contract Type: Full-time Contract Position

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures
• Handle and process patient samples with proper safety protocols
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning
• Record and report test results accurately
• Follow standard operating procedures and quality control measures
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organisation
• Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
• Valid practicing license from Allied Health Professionals Council
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in laboratory work
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and infection control
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in any of the specified locations
