About the Role:
As an IT Graduate Trainee, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship to develop your technical and professional skills. You will support the IT department in maintaining systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing technology solutions that drive our forestry operations forward.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
• Provide first-line technical support to staff, resolving IT-related issues promptly.
• Support data management and help ensure the security and integrity of company information.
• Participate in IT projects, including the deployment of new systems or software updates.
• Learn and adhere to IT best practices and company policies.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records of IT assets and support tickets.

Who We Are Looking For:
• A recent graduate (within the last 2 years) with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of computer systems, networks, and basic programming.
• Eagerness to learn, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Passion for technology and its application in sustainable business practices.
• Willingness to be based in Gulu, Uganda.
