ASIGMA Group, a leading Ugandan professional services firm, is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team in Kampala. This senior role offers an exciting opportunity to provide independent assurance and advisory services that add significant value to our organisation's operations.

As our Internal Auditor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing organisational effectiveness by evaluating and improving governance, risk management, and internal control processes. You'll work closely with management and the Risk & Audit Committee to strengthen our control environment while safeguarding assets and ensuring compliance with Ugandan laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive annual internal audit plans using risk-based approaches
• Execute financial, operational, IT, compliance, and ESG audits across all business functions
• Apply advanced data analytics and digital audit tools to enhance audit efficiency
• Deliver impactful audit reports with practical recommendations to executive management
• Assess compliance with IFRS/IAS, local regulations, and internal policies
• Support the organisation's digital transformation and sustainability initiatives
• Conduct fraud risk assessments and investigations when required

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Professional certification: CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA, or CFE preferred
• Minimum 5+ years progressive experience in internal audit or risk management
• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards (IIA Standards, COSO frameworks)
• Proficiency in data analytics tools and digital audit platforms
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• High integrity, objectivity, and professional skepticism
