Position Overview
As our Human Resource Officer in Kampala, you will play a crucial role in building and supporting our team of changemakers dedicated to youth empowerment and education transformation in Uganda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment and onboarding processes for new team members
- Support employee relations and performance management systems
- Coordinate staff training and professional development programmes
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with Ugandan labour laws
- Implement HR policies and procedures aligned with organisational values
- Support payroll administration and benefits management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of HR experience in Uganda
- Knowledge of Ugandan employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with HR software and systems
