Finance Officer Job at CRS Uganda - Mubende Location

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Uganda is seeking a qualified Finance Officer to join our team in Mubende. This is an excellent opportunity for finance professionals looking to advance their careers with an international humanitarian organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day financial operations and accounting functions
• Process payments, vouchers, and financial transactions accurately
• Maintain proper financial documentation and filing systems
• Prepare monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations
• Support budget preparation and monitoring activities
• Ensure compliance with CRS financial policies and Ugandan regulations
• Coordinate with programme teams on financial matters
• Assist with internal and external audits

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage
• Minimum 3 years' experience in finance or accounting role
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax laws and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
