Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day financial operations and accounting functions
• Prepare and monitor budgets, financial reports, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with Ugandan financial regulations and donor requirements
• Process payments, manage cash flow, and maintain financial records
• Coordinate with programme teams on financial planning and reporting
• Support audit processes and implement financial controls
• Manage payroll and staff advances in accordance with organisational policies

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage
• Minimum 3 years' experience in finance role, preferably in NGO sector
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax laws and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is beneficial
