Finance Officer Job at CRS Uganda - Financial Management Position

CRS Uganda is seeking a qualified Finance Officer to join our dedicated team in Uganda. This is an excellent opportunity for finance professionals looking to contribute to meaningful humanitarian work while advancing their career in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial operations and accounting functions
- Prepare and process payments, vouchers, and financial reports
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support budget preparation and monitoring activities
- Ensure compliance with CRS financial policies and Ugandan regulations
- Coordinate with programme teams on financial matters
- Assist in internal and external audit processes
- Process payroll and manage staff advances

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA) is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting role
- Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax laws and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Strong communication skills in English
